Itomichi (nails)

When you move your left hand on the 3rd string with your index finger, you hold the string with your fingernail. The groove that is made to the nail to make it easier for the string to fit and produce a more clear sound is called “Itomichi”. You will also learn how to make Itomichi on your nails.
