Yuri

This video covers Yuri (tsugaru shamisen vibrato) technique. Yuri is used to prolong vibrato sound by holding Tsubo and vibrating your string hand after striking bachi. This is quite a difficult technique for those who have just started the Shamisen, but once you are able to use the Yuri, you can improve your Shamisen play a lot. Let’s start adding some Yuri to the songs you have already mastered and get used to the technique in your daily practice!
