Minyo Lesson | Ringo Bushi

This video introduces Ringo Bushi from Minyo (folk song) of Aomori prefecture. The song is about the scenery of growing apples through the four seasons. The melody of the shamisen accompaniment was composed by Takahashi Chikuzan who is one of the legendary Tsugaru shamisen players. It is a wonderful song with lots of fine techniques.
